What to expect

Building a new home is one of the biggest things you’ll possibly do in life. We use our experience and knowledge combined with proven project management software to make it a less daunting, less unknown process. We’re big on communication here – you’ll hear from us every step of the process; from concept to contract, consent to construction, and through to completion.

You will be better prepared and the build can run more smoothly if you follow this checklist.

Concept to contract

This is the ideas and planning stage. This is where we need to hear what is important to you – your wants and your needs. We’ll get you to thrash out the details at home with your family and then bring us your wish list. No idea is a bad idea – well, some are but we can use our experience and knowledge to guide you away from those.

A good place to find and capture your ideas is Houzz or Archipro.

Consent to construction

You’ve done the scary bit – now let’s have some fun. It’s time to start choosing colours, deciding on a kitchen, choosing a benchtop and getting samples that you’ll probably end up carrying in your handbag or glovebox for the next few months. Let’s bring your mood board to life.

We won’t leave you to wander aisles aimlessly – we’ll connect you with people and companies we know and trust, companies we’ve worked with for years. They’ll make the mind-boggling array of design and fitting choices fun and, dare we say it, easy.

Construction to completion

This is where all the hard work of the last 30 weeks starts to come to life. Earthworks happen, the frames go up and the roof goes on – roof shout, anyone?! The house is made weather-tight and lockable and then the trades swarm in to work on your home’s interiors.

We’ll give you traditional craftsmanship and values with modern technologies and design ideas. We’ll build you a quality home you’ll be excited to return to every night.
